What Does Netflix Say About You?

For all of you that have Netflix - you know that they give suggestions based on your interests and preferences.  I occasionally scroll through just to see what's there and lately the categories have been cracking me up.  My brother Mike's been living with us for a few months and the combination of the three of us watching Netflix has been creating some random categories.  So I thought I'd share, here's what Netflix says about me today:
  • British Period Pieces Based on Books
  • Mind-Bending Suspenseful Sci-Fi & Fantasy
  • Witty Dysfunctional-Family TV Shows
  • Emotional Foreign Documentaries
  • Violent Crime TV Shows
  • Girl-Power Children & Family Movies
  • Quirky TV Comedies
  • Feel-good Foreign Action & Adventure
And there you have it, this is my house in a nutshell.  So now I want to know - what does Netflix say about you?

That is hilarious! I am totally going home to see what Netflix things about me. (I will, of course, report back.) And it will be a modge podge too because a bunch of us Plautzes use Mom & Dad's account.

Also, Girl-Power Children & Family Movies is my favorite. Ok, it's a toss up between that and Feel-good Foreign Action & Adventure. These are awesome!

I must agree - those 2 are probably my favorite too. Though a few weeks ago we had 'Children & Family Cartoon TV Shows from the 1980s' and that made me laugh pretty hard.

Can't wait to hear the Plautz categories!

Just for you I went and looked at my Netflix suggestions. We're having a good laugh. Here are my favorites:
"Conspiracy Period Pieces based on real life"
"Visually-Striking Violent Action Adventure"
"Understated British movies based on classical literature."

Netflix clearly thinks I'm a snob, even when it comes to violent action adventure movies. ("At least it's visually striking.")

Melissa your list is cracking me up! I especially love 'Conspiracy Period Pieces based on real life.' What movies are in that category? I need to watch them.

Hi Beasty! Mine we're as exciting as yours but here's a few good ones.
Critically-acclaimed goofy movies
Suspenseful Documentaries
British tv shows
Family features for ages 5-7
yours are better!
