As you know I've been doing a little sewing lately, and have gotten pretty obsessed actually. I have discovered a whole new world of shopping possibilities: fabric! I even had a dream the other night that I was up in an attic that was filled with my grandma's stuff and I found piles and piles of vintage fabrics. It was the best dream ever! Like I said obsessed. Clue that you are becoming obsessed: dreaming about finding tons of free, fabulous fabrics. Anyway after making a few bags as gifts for friends and family, I was at my nieces birthday party and everyone who saw the bag I'd made for my sister Laura asked if I was selling on etsy... So I decided that maybe I should do just that.
In preparing to 'go live' on etsy I decided that in addition to having regular photos of my bags, it would be cool to have some with people too. So last week I did a little photo session with Heather Winters at her house and it was so much fun! For anyone who knows Heather, you know how adorable she is - not to mention super photogenic. We took all the photos in her front yard and it was really hilarious doing the wardrobe changes in her entryway. Plus I swear whenever she was doing a particularly odd pose someone would drive by. Needless to say we laughed a lot.
Anyway without further ado may I present polka dot elephant - now available on etsy and my new blog - would love to see you there! (Hey, I warned you that it was a shameless self promotion.)
