Another Update

My mom continues to improve each day. She was actually joking about having to "one-up" Laura giving birth on the kitchen floor by getting in a motorcycle accident on her 60th birthday. So her humor is back and that's a good thing. She is still in ICU but is now using only a breathing tube (off the respirator). So there is a good chance she will get out of ICU tomorrow. But my dad just found out she also has 3 broken ribs. I don't know why that wasn't mentioned before! But like the other bones they will heal on their own.
